The Process

My language learning process is built to bridge the gap between your mind and your body, weaving traditional learning techniques—like verb tense memorization—with carefully structured, immersive practices using TV shows, movies, and books.

I have found this combination to be the absolute sweet spot for truly activating the language within yourself. It helps you understand the language and culture on a deep level, allowing you to authentically express who you are.

If you want your target language to feel real in your body, natural in your voice, and open your mind to new possibilities, this process is for you.

About me

Language learning gave me the perspective shifts and permission I needed to take a wildly different path than anything I had ever been exposed to. When I was 13, I became obsessed with France and decided I wanted to be a diplomat just so I could live there. I started learning French my senior year of high school and even took a gap year in France to immerse myself. However, once I actually began studying international affairs, I quickly realized that career path wasn't for me.

But I kept learning the language. Over the course of the next few years, through plenty of pivots, I realized that what I actually wanted was to be an artist. I truly believe that immersing myself in French culture—of which art is an integral part—helped me give myself permission to follow this path. Today, I live in France and am attending art school.

I also tested this process again with Italian and now speak it fluently. I know this approach is effective because I lived it. It helped me give myself the space I needed to reshape my life, and I hope it can do even a fraction of the same thing for you.
